프론트 가든
이 프로젝트는 방콕에 있는 전형적인 번화가 랏프라오(Ladprao) 거리에 위치한 정원프로젝트이다. 프론트 가든은 주거타워 앞에서 길에 접해있으면서 완충공간의 역할을 하고 있다. 이 공간은 소음과 공기오염을 완화할 수 있는 숲 같이 구성되어 있고 산책을 할 수 있는 전이공간이자 휴게공간의 역할을 한다.
다양한 음지성 관목류의 파편화된 형태를 재구성하여 선명한 퀼트같은 패턴으로 조성하였다. 이들 음지성 관목들은 야생림의 형태를 식물학적인 양식으로 변형시킨 잡목림 하부에 자라는 초목들이다. 색, 형태, 질감의 대비를 통해 식물다양성을 표현하고 평화로운 아름다움의 조합을 보여줌과 동시에 전체적인 생태성을 향상시킨다.
완만한 경사의 동선망은 이들이 상호작용하는 녹지대를 통해 이어져 있는데 이 녹지대들은 지질구조적인 판을 돌출시켜 보는 이가 탐구와 발견의 기쁨을 느낄 수 있도록 조성되었다. 마운딩은 시야에 방해받지 않는 편안한 눈높이 위치에 조성되었고 의자들은 이 공간을 감싸듯 배치되어 아늑한 느낌을 주고 있다. 이들은 근처의 상점들과 내부 도로의 시각적 연결을 차단하여 공간의 고요한 느낌을 증진시켜준다.

Front Garden
The project is situated on the busy Ladprao Road - a typical congested road in Bangkok. The front garden being adjacent to the road acts as a buffer space before reaching the residential tower. We envision a forest-like setting to offset noise and
pollution and yet pleasing for functional use such as strolling and lounging for this transitional space.
Strong quilt-like graphic is employed to reorganise fragments of diverse shade tolerant understorey plants below canopy of mixed forest trees transforming wild forest pattern into botanic pattern. Diversities of plants are contrasting in colour, form and texture bringing about a complex yet serene beauty while at the same time enriching the ecology at large.
Network of gentle sloping path weaves through these interplaying green envelop which protruded as raised tectonic plate conveys a sense of exploration and discovery. Eye level height mounds in which private niches and seats are nestled enfold this space to cutoff visual connection to the adjacent shophouse and internal road enhancing its tranquility.
