피플웍스 옥상정원

Chorokseom, a rooftop garden at the office building of Peopleworks, is a garden which was constructed to be targeted for the harmonization with nature and people with themes: ‘Happy space with little smile’, ‘Human-readable emotional space’ and ‘Energetic space with comfortable feeling’. It is mainly divided into Eoulnuri, Happy hardwood flooring, A yard for all people and Emotional hill with contributed themes: blue, orange and green traffic routes. Peopleworks Rooftop Garden invites people whom they wanted to take a walk, to sympathize with entertainment and nature and to stimulate sensibility as human space after followed a stream to go on a blue pathway which gives a feeling of little beauty in nature, a green pathway which finds an energetic power on wide space crossing stepping stones and an orange pathway which feels a scent of nature going up and down like climbing on hills.

피플웍스 구미사옥의 옥상정원인 ‘초록섬’은 ‘소소한 웃음이 있는 행복 공간’, ‘인간중심의 감성 공간’, ‘편안함 속에 함께하는 활력 공간’을 주제로 자연과 사람의 조화를 목표로 조성된 정원이다. 공간은 크게 어울누리, 행복마루, 활력의 샘, 모두마당, 감성언덕 등으로 구성되며, 파랑길, 주황길, 초록길 등 동선에 테마를 부여한 것이 특징이다. 상록과 낙엽을 적절히 조화시키고, 감나무, 석류, 보리수 등 유실수를 식재하여 친근감을 유도하였으며, 화목류 및 야생화 식재로 변화있는 경관과 계절감을 부여하였다.
계류를 따라 자연과 교감하며 소소한 아름다움을 느끼는 행복의 파랑길, 초록빛 언덕을 돌아나가며 징검다리를 건너고 넓은 공간에서 모두 함께 찾는 활력의 주황길, 마치 언덕길을 오르내리듯 오르락 내리락 굽이쳐 돌아가며 자연의 향기를 느끼게 되는 감성의 초록길 등. 피플웍스 옥상정원은 걷는 재미와 자연과의 교감, 감성을 자극하는 인간적인 공간으로 방문자들을 초대하고 있다.
