오산세교지구 내 약 2km가 넘는 자연형 실개천은 국내 어디에도 볼 수 없었던 매력적인 요소로 지구 내 시민들의 생활 속에 자리 잡고 있다. 가을빛이 더욱 아름다운 산책로는 졸졸졸 흐르는 물소리와 함께 어느덧 광활하게 펼쳐진 초지원으로 자연스럽게 이끌며, 자연지형을 그대로 드러낸 초지원은 금암동 지석묘군이 주는 신비함과 어우러져 광활한 자연의 한가운데 서 있는 느낌을 주도록 한다. 자연이 가져다주는 혜택을 그대로 담고 있는 오산세교지구를 소개한다.
오산세교지구 내 공원 녹지는 인접한 여계산 자락의 반월봉, 필봉 등 기존 수림대와 긴밀히 연계된 4개의 동서·남북 녹지축이 지구 중심 안에 녹아들면서 약 30%에 이르는 공원 녹지율을 자랑한다. 지구 내 풍부한 자연을 기반으로 빗물을 활용하는 실개울, 수변 녹지 등 환경 자원에 역사 문화 자원을 녹여 담아 지역적 맥락을 살리는 환경적 장소성을 구현하고 있으며 2011년 자연환경대상에 대상으로 선정되기도 했다.
컨셉
오산세교지구는 물, 숲, 바람, 역사 문화를 컨셉으로 한 공간 조성을 이루고 있다. 자연형 친수공간인 지구 내 실개천은 2km가 넘는 Blue(물) Network를 형성하며, 인근 여계산을 모체로 반월봉, 필봉 등과 사업지 자연공원 및 녹지와의 연계로 Green(숲) Network를 확보한다. 그리고 지구를 가로로 관통하는 민자 고속도로 주변으로는 바람이 지나는 길목으로 운동중심의 체육공원 조성 및 중심광장의 기능을 수행하는 체육공원(바람)이 위치한다. 또금암동지석묘군 문헌서원등 문화재와 시ﾉ굴이완료 된 삼국시대 백제고분 등 문화재자원을 연계한 Network(역사문화를 형성한다.
A 2 kilometer stream located within Segyo District in Osan is a uniquely attractive landscape element not to be found anywhere else across the country, playing an essential role in everyday life of its residents. A trail is smoothly leading to an open meadow, reflecting beautiful autumnal sunlight and echoing the murmur of the brook flowing along. With the mystique aroused by series of dolmen in Geumam-dong, the meadow is creating a feeling of standing in the midst of Mother Nature. Segyo District in Osan is truly blessed with all the benefits that nature has to offer.
Parks and forests planning for Segyo District is characterized by its greening ratio of up to 30%, combining each of four green corridors with existing forest of adjacent Mt. Yeogye. Largely based on richness of the area’ natural environment, sense of place is created by marrying up natural resources like storm water utilizing stream and waterfront green with historic and cultural heritage. The Natural Environment Exhibit 2011 awarded the First Prize to the district.
