Tancheon Water Treatment Center Park
탄천물재생센터는 악취로 인해 지역 주민의 민원이 끊이지 않았던 혐오시설에서 다목적 휴식·놀이공간인 친환경 녹색공원으로 새롭게 변화된 복합문화체육공원이다. 이번 개장은 2004년 7월에 완성된 10,283㎡ 규모의 1단계 사업과 2007년 10월에 완성된 15,600㎡ 규모의 2단계 사업에 이은 3단계 사업으로 49,700㎡ 규모의 기존 하수처리장 위에 공원을 조성한 것이다. 공원은 하수처리장 위 기초 자리에 철골 기둥을 세워 슬래브를 조립하고 그 위에 흙을 덮고서 들어선 것이지만 기존에 물재생센터였던 것이 무색할 정도로 주민들과의 교류가 잘 이루어지고 있었다
Tancheon water treatment center, which was an abhorrence facility with bad strong smells given serious discomfort to residents, is newly reformed Eco-friendly Park as multi cultural sports park for taking a rest and playing. It was planned for 3 stages: the first was constructed 10,283㎡ in July, 2004, the second was 15,600㎡ in October, 2007 and the third was 49,700㎡ followed by the second stage on an existed sewage disposal plant. Although Tancheon water treatment center was given to discomfort long time ago, it was made of steel columns to be assembled as the fundamental site which is covered soil being with residents.
