로욜라 메리마운트 대학(LMU) 은 역사가 있는 기존의 캠퍼스와  로스앤젤레스 해변을 내려다 볼 수 있는 신 캠퍼스 두 개로 이루어져 있다. 두 캠퍼스를 하나로 엮는 과제는 140 에이커 너비의 캠퍼스에 대한 AECOM의 마스터플랜에서 전체적으로 다루고 있기는 하지만, 분리된 캠퍼스를 연결하고 캠퍼스에 전체적으로 새로운 조경 타이폴로지와 지속가능성에 대한 표준을 마련함에 있어서는 AECOM의 LMU 신도서관 조경 디자인이 그 핵심에 있었다.

PROJECT STATEMENT
The Loyola Marymount University (LMU) campus features a historic core, with a newer adjoining campus that overlooks the Los Angeles coastline. Our masterplan for the 140-acre campus addressed the challenges of knitting the campuses together, but it was our landscape design for LMU’s new library that was critical in linking together the two separate campuses, and in setting a new landscape typology and standard for sustainability for the overall campus.
