국내 경관·조경 산업의 발전과 활성화를 선도하는 월간 <환경과조경>의 창간30주년을 진심으로 축하합니다. 

1982년 7월, 우리나라 경관·조경 산업의 대표 미디어를 지향하며 창간된 월간 <환경과조경>은 조경분야의 발전과 함께 출판문화 창달에 이바지한다는 일념으로 꾸준히 성장해 왔습니다. 산업의 변화와 경영의 어려움을 겪으면서도 한 호의 결호 없이 지속적으로 발행해 올 수 있었던 것은 오휘영 발행인을 비롯한 임직원 여러분들의 노력 덕분이라고 생각합니다. 오랜 기간 <환경과조경>을 애독해주신 독자 여러분들의 애정에도 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.
   
<환경과조경>이 30년이라는 유구한 시간 동안 축적한 경험을 바탕으로 국내 생태, 환경복원, 조경시공 등의 발전을 위한 현안을 심층 분석하고, 국내외 조경업계의 새로운 정보와 기술을 제공하는 것은 물론 조경업계의 대변지로 계속 승승장구하기를 기원합니다. 

또한, 전문잡지로서 조사·연구 기능을 더욱 활성화하여 업계의 문제점, 개선방향 등의 정책 방향과 대안 및 해외 선진 정보와 기술을 끊임없이 제시하는 전문잡지사로 더욱 성장하리라 확신하며, 한 걸음 더 나아가 방대한 잡지콘텐츠를 디지털화하여 조경분야에 종사하는 분들뿐만 아니라 모든 국민에게 유용한 정보와 데이터를 제공하여 누구에게나 사랑받는 잡지가 되길 바랍니다.

ELA, A Trustworthy Representative of the Industry, Providing Directions and Strategies

Congratulate on the 30th anniversary of ELA which leads the development and the invigoration of Landscape industry in Korea.

ELA, orienting toward the representative media in landscape industry, has been growing steadily not only to advance landscape eld but also to promote publication industry since July, 1982 that the rst issue of ELA has started. In spite of the difculties of management and the changes of industry, the ELA has been published constantly without missing issue. It is due the effort of publisher, Oh Whee Young and all employees in ELA. Also, I’d like to express my appreciation of devoted readers having constant affection for ELA.

Based on the accumulation of experiences for last 30 years, I wish the ELA to do in-depth analysis of current issues such as domestic ecology, environment restoration and landscape construction. and to provide the latest information and technology. What is more, I wish the ELA to keep driving on without stop as a mouthpiece in landscape industry. I believe that ELA will grow bigger as a technical magazine which continues to suggest landscape policy, improvement of problems in landscape industry and overseas information. So, I want ELA to be widelyloved magazine from not only landscapeexperts but also all the people in the country by offering useful information and datum.

I am sure the ELA could take the lead in publishing professional magazine. And, I expect the ELA will act as an information-culture magazine including new solution and high technology in and outside the country for making landscape industry to be high-tech industry.
